Beautiful Accommodation showcases boutique Australian accommodation properties across all states and territories.

Entry into the guides is by invitation only and every property is visited, reviewed and photographed by their team. As many different styles of quality accommodation as possible are included, but they ensure they are among the best in their region. They must have distinctive style and high service standards, as well as welcoming hosts who love to share their local knowledge and passion for the area.

The books were established in 1997 and since late 2010 they have been a part of the Hardie Grant portfolio. The publisher’s stable includes Explore Australia, James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion, Margaret Fulton and many other travel, food and lifestyle titles.

Each printed edition of Beautiful Accommodation has a shelf life of two years, with a print run of 15,000 copies. Distribution is via bookshops, selected newsagents, gift stores and specialty retailers, as well as RACV, NRMA and RACQ outlets. They also sell direct to consumers at travel shows and expos.
