Congratulations to Anna Taylor of Gladstone who has won a 3 night accommodation package at Castaway Cove

Yesterday, Annamarie and I accompanied other Sunshine Coast tour operators on a bus trip to Brisbane to help the local tourism body - Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd, promote the Sunshine Coast and a new web-based “Spin & Win” competition.
 
We started off at Aussie World where we were fitted out with our white “naturally refreshing” t-shirts, followed by a media call and then travelled by Sun Air mini-bus down to Brisbane’s Southbank where we blew up balloons and set up a promo area at the Wheel of Brisbane in conjunction with Brisbane Radio station B105.  Punters lined up for a chocolate wheel type spin to win free tickets to ride the Big Wheel.  When the wheel was full, the Qld Minister for Tourism, Jan Jarrett, launched the event by pressing the button to start the big wheel rotating and then again to stop it.  One lucky rider from the capsule that landed on entrance 4 won a Sunshine Coast holiday.

It was a gorgeous sunny Qld winter day.  We helped hand out balloons and goodie bags promoting the "Spin & Win" competition where anyone has a chance at fantastic daily prizes plus get an entry in the major prize draw to win a Sunshine Coast holiday worth over $15,000! 

Each spin reveals a random combination of daily prizes consisting of accommodation and activity packages (one of which is 3 nights at Castaway Cove) and if you like what’s revealed: “Submit” to enter.  You can try your luck by spinning again, but you can’t bank previous selections—each spin overrules the last.  You can spin a maximum of 3 times (if your first or second spins aren’t to your taste).
